Use Quilters Select Free Fuse powder to quickly and easily baste quilts for quilting. It is so much faster than pinning and so much neater than spray-basting!

Free Fuse creates a semi-permanent bond between fabrics that great for quilting, applique, fusing fabric to fabric, making your own fusible stabilizer, and lots more. It is also needle friendly, and won't leave any residue on your needle as you sew.

Free Fuse basting powder is easy to use- just sprinkle it over the base material or fabric, place a second piece of fabric over the top of the powdered surface, cover with parchment paper or a Teflon pressing sheet, and apply direct heat and pressure with an iron for at least 4 seconds to set the bond.

I like the ease of use and no toxic fumes from an aerosol spray.

More needed than I thought February 12, 2019
Reviewer: Alicia Cesario from SAN PEDRO, CA United States
I made a small table quilt and needed quite a bit more than it seemed I would from Alex’s video. Iron needed to be HOT to melt it. I think it is definitely more controllable than spray.  It hasn’t gummed up my needle like spray can. Over time I don’t know how cost effective it will be at $10 refills which as stated will cover only a double.  A king size will cost $30, original $20 plus $10 refill.  Yikes!
