Ricky Tims' Stable Stuff Poly is a versatile, machine printable multi-purpose stabilizer that can be left in place or torn away after stitching.

Use Stable Stuff Poly for applique, machine embroidery, foundation piecing, machine quilting, and more. Once stitched you can tear it away - or not! If left in place Stable Stuff Poly will soften with washing to become a fine soft layer inside your quilt.

I don’t use anything else for machine appliqué.  I love that I can leave it in the quilt and don’t have to stress the stitching by ripping out the stabilizer
